The Pelican 3700 is the same as the 3600 but outfitted with a lens ring that emits a bright glow in the dark. The new generation photoluminescent material in the plastic absorbs the energy from any light source - fluorescent lights, the sun, or even the flashlight's own beam. No more fumbling in the dark for your flashlight. The Big Ed 3700PL is powered by 4 C alkaline cells. Big Ed is Pelican's new right-angle flashlight specifically designed for fire fighters. The flashlight body is made of Xenoy®, an unbreakable chemical resistant resin, with a polycarbonate lens and thermoplastic rubber shroud. The powerful Xenon lamp produces an unparalleled bright, long distance beam. A spare lamp is included as a secondary lamp. The unique push-button "Quick Change Battery Ejection System" allows the user to change the battery pack, 4C cell alkaline batteries (not included), without the use of tools. Big Ed™ can be carried comfortably in the hand, worn on a shoulder strap or clipped to a turnout coat by its stainless steel clip. Big Ed™ is water-resistant (not for diving applications) and available with a personal identification decal. You break it, we replace it... forever.
